FORT CHAMBLY​

When you arrive at the Fort Chambly National Historic Site, take a look at the size of this picturesque site that is both beautiful and strategic. From the first wooden fort built by soldiers of the Carignan-Salières regiment in 1665 to the departure of the English troops in the mid-19th century, the site comes alive with the rhythm of military life. Enter the original fortification and discover the different aspects of the life of French soldiers during the New France era.

LACOLLE RIVER BLOCKHAUS

CYCLING PATH

The bike tour of the Border is an easy route that will make you see stunning sceneries: splendid views of the mountains, stone walls, orchards, stream that descends into the valley, vineyard lands and fields of vegetables as far as the eye can see. An off-road paved stretch of nearly 20 km, built on an old railway, passes close to the campsite.

CIRCUIT DU PAYSAN TRACK
